You just got hired as the company's first UX researcher. There is no team, no repository, and a backlog of opinions wearing trench coats and calling themselves insights.

How to play
Your goal is credibility. It unlocks budget and headcount, and if it hits zero the function gets dissolved.

Each quarter, requests arrive as you go, each tagged by stakes. Route every one: Micro (fast, cheap), Rapid (balanced), Deep (slow, but builds your Frame), or push back. Match depth to the stakes. Under-research a high-stakes call and the Delta grows until a launch flops; Deep work on the right problems grows the Frame, your living model of the user, which makes all future research faster.

Watch your capacity. Commit past it and morale burns, and at zero everyone quits. At 4 hires you become a manager and your own capacity drops to 1.
